Random Favorites #2

Quilts! I have been quilting for about 2 years now--it is so addicting! I figure I have made about 8 quilts so far and have plans in my head and piles of fabric for many more to come.

Random Favorites #1

I have many favorites so I thought I'd share some in random order. Random favorites #1 is wreaths. I just counted 6 in my house, including the one pictured, not including the different seasonal wreaths I hang and change on my front door. Love them!

Comfort

Thought I'd document a scene seen very frequently around here. Sam will be three in three days. You will often see him laying on his pillow, milk in one hand, and his other hand in his hair. He used to have to run his fingers through my hair but since the new baby has resigned himself to running his fingers through his own hair. I keep thinking he is almost three and I need to get him off his bottle but I hate to because I know it brings him such comfort.

Olivia is a kindergartener! She loves coloring, recess, P.E., and computers. On the first day of school I asked to take her picture and she was acting quite goofy as you can tell.

Happy Halloween! The kids had so much fun trick or treating with their cousins Emma, Ellie, Xander and Eliza. Luke went as Super Mario, Sam was Mike from Monsters Inc., and Olivia wore a pirate girl costume we found late last night at Walmart (her Daphne costume we ordered online never came). Emma is the bee, Ellie the ladybug, Superman is Xander, and Eliza (not pictured) was a bee. Oh, and the crying pumpkin is Sophie.

Luke and Olivia both just finished the soccer season, Olivia's first. She is quite the soccer player making several goals.

Ok I finally decided to create our family blog. Here are some things that have happened around here lately. Luke started 1st grade and loves it except for having to get up early. When i wake him up he always says he feels like he's only slept for 5 min. (welcome to the real world!)
